The purpose of this course is to provide learners with a clear and practical understanding of dementia. It aims to raise awareness of what dementia is, the different types and symptoms, its impact on individuals and those around them, and effective ways to communicate and provide support. The course also explores key UK legal and ethical considerations, helping learners understand their responsibilities when supporting people living with dementia. By the end, learners will feel confident and better prepared to recognise the signs of dementia and respond appropriately in both personal and professional contexts.
